Owner's notes:
My ex-girlfriend gave this to me on our first date. I met her at a party in New York thrown by a mutual client of the companies we worked for. I got completely shitfaced and wanted to get her into bed as soon as I saw her. When I found out she also lived in Jersey City I managed to coerce her to come back to my place. She wasn’t into what I had in mind when we got there though, but slept over anyway. The next morning I had such a searing headache I couldn’t even muster up a goodbye as she walked out the door, which she mistook as being rude in response to her not putting out. I wasn’t trying to be rude though, and I tried to explain this in a long apologetic message I left on her voicemail the next day. She called me back and I told her I wanted to make it up to her by taking her on a proper date. She agreed. Unfortunately, living here didn’t offer many options as to an appropriate place to take her, appropriate meaning cool enough for our ubercool selves to be seen. A new place had just opened, L.I.T.M. It seemed decent enough so I chose to take her there.
It was a typical first date, we were both a little nervous, a little excited, and a bit goofy. She became fidgety at one point and took a flyer from the bar and asked the bartender for a pair of scissors. I kind of just observed in confusion. She cut me a little snowflake and handed it to me. I was still a bit confused but took it as a positive sign so I thanked her cheerfully and put it in my pocket.
Later that night we got bored of being at the bar and went back to my place to listen to music and make out. We were together for a year. After we broke up she moved to Brooklyn.
